Knitwear Salon: Helen Lawrence’s Collection at Chelsea’s Banqueting Suite

Textile design alumna Helen Lawrence returned to Chelsea to showcase her A/W 2015 cool chunky knits for London Fashion Week. After graduating from Chelsea BA Textile Design, Helen went on to study MA Fashion at Central Saint Martins. She’s now making a name for herself in British fashion. A Golden Future

Jacqueline Lefferts came all the way from New York to study at Chelsea Textiles and has recently been nominated by Texprint which exhibits the best of British Textile talent in the Triangle gallery at Chelsea College of Art. Texprint promotes the best of British talent with the support of industry professionals worldwide and has launched many well known textile designers. Jacqueline got selected for her luxury weaving which is based on the Leno weave technique is used to create lace effect cloths in rich colours that exude luxury combined with a nostalgic longing for the past. Jacqueline is next stop with Texprint is Paris in September to show at Première Vision.
